A cash counter for euros in Germany

This free cash counter adds up euro notes and coins for anyone living, working or travelling in Germany. Enter how many of each you have, and your total appears instantly. It suits a shop till, a club cash box, tips or a jar of small change.

Paying coins into a German bank

Banks and savings banks don't have to take unlimited coins, and many charge a fee for larger amounts. Bundesbank branches accept euro coins in any quantity. Shops can refuse a single payment of more than 50 coins, so it pays to know your total first.

Counting the till

Add up the till and take away the float. €415 in notes and €46.59 in coins make €461.59. With a €150 float, cash sales should be €311.59.

What you can count

Enter €200, €100, €50, €20, €10 and €5 notes, plus €2, €1, 50c, 20c, 10c, 5c, 2c and 1c coins. For coin rolls, multiply first: three €2 rolls of 25 coins are 75 coins.

Type a number or tap + and −. Full view lets you tap a picture as you count, and Hide empty shows only what you used. It is free with no account, and your numbers stay on your device until you reload. It only adds up money and cannot spot fake notes.
