Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

This policy explains what information this website (cashtallo.com) and the Cash Counter: Money Calculator app for iPhone and Android collect, and why. It applies to everyone, wherever you live.

The short version

1. The website

The calculator works entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored on a server, and it clears when you reload the page.

The website saves two small settings in your browser: whether tap sounds are on or off, and which country you picked during your visit. They stay on your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings at any time.

Our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, page visited and time) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are deleted after a short time.

All fonts, images and files are served from our own server. The website does not load anything from Google or other third parties, and it uses no analytics, no ads and no cookies.

2. The app

Your data: your counts, saved transactions and history are stored only on your phone. We don't have a server that receives them. Deleting the app deletes this data, except for any copy in your own phone backup (such as iCloud or Google backup).

Purchases: paid features are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment. We only receive what we need to unlock your purchase, such as the product, purchase date and subscription status.

Ads: the free version shows ads from advertising partners. To show and measure ads, they may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device type and how you interact with ads. Where the law requires it (for example in Europe and the UK), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can also limit ad tracking in your phone settings:

Analytics and crash reports: to fix problems and improve the app, we collect app version, device model, operating system, language, country, the features used, and technical details when the app crashes. We don't use this to identify you.

3. Why we use information

We use information only to provide the app and website, keep them secure, fix problems, improve them, show ads, and process purchases. Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on providing the service you asked for, our legitimate interest in running and improving it, your consent (for personalised ads), and legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the website and app (hosting, Apple and Google, advertising, analytics and crash reporting), or with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws, such as in California, may treat sharing an advertising ID with ad partners as "selling" or "sharing". You can opt out using the phone settings above or by emailing us.

These providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short time. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Ad and analytics partners keep data under their own policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, the CCPA in California, the LGPD in Brazil, or the DPDP Act in India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted ads, and complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email chordforus@gmail.com with "Privacy" in the subject. We'll reply within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

7. Children

Our website and app are not made for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
