A cash calculator for Bangladeshi taka

This free cash calculator adds up taka notes and coins for you. Enter how many of each you have and the total appears in lakh format as you type. Shop owners, office cashiers and anyone counting cash at home can use it on a phone or computer.

Notes and coins you can count

Bangladesh Bank has been issuing a new note series since 2025, and older designs are still valid. Enter old and new notes in the same row.

Preparing a bank deposit

A deposit slip asks how many notes of each value you are paying in. Count here first, then copy the numbers across. A bundle usually holds 100 notes, so a bundle of ৳1,000 notes is ৳1,00,000 and a bundle of ৳500 notes is ৳50,000. For full bundles, enter the number of notes: three ৳500 bundles are 300 notes.

How it works

Type a number or tap + and −, and the total changes with each entry. Full view lets you tap a picture as you count, and Hide empty keeps only the rows you used. There is no login or download. Your numbers stay on your device and clear when you reload, and the calculator cannot tell whether a note is genuine.

To save counts and share totals, get the Cash Calculator app for Android and iPhone.
